Costa Mesa, CA – SahyunNim Victor Teran, a 7th Dan Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, will be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame at the 20th Anniversary Awards Banquet on Saturday, July 27, at the Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa. The event will feature Dr. Robert Goldman as Grandmaster of Ceremonies and action film star Sifu Cynthia Rothrock as Keynote Speaker.
Master Teran began his martial arts at an early age, receiving his 1st Dan Black Belt at the age of 13. As a youth he participated in several regional and national competitions, bringing home both gold and silver medals. His dedication and determination resulted in invitations to train in South Korea with the Korean Olympic Team and later to take part in the United States Olympic Team trials.

After graduation, Master Teran joined the U.S. Marine Corps, rising to the rank of sergeant and becoming a Marine Corps Martial Arts/Close Combat Instructor trainer. Following eight years in the Marines, he spent more than ten years in Iraq working with the U.S State Department as a Private Security Contractor and Agent-in-Charge before returning to the United States to concentrate on teaching Taekwon-Do.

Victor Teran’s Our Trip to the Zoo is a colorful children’s book about a young boy named Landon and his father who visit a zoo and learn to count to ten at the same time by the number of different animals that they see as they make their way through the zoo. Throughout the book, the numbers themselves are even in the shapes of the animals that they encounter on their journey. The narration style is a rhyming scheme which may also help to provide an educational tool for younger children as a way of remembering how to count from one to ten.

Addison, TX – SahyunNim Victor Teran, a 7th Dan Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, will be inducted into the United States Hall of Fame at the 22nd Anniversary Awards Banquet on Saturday, July 25, at the magnificent Crowne Plaza, Texas.
Congratulations, you have been nominated to be inducted into the 2020 United States Martial Arts Hall Of Fame! We are honored to extend our invitation for you to join the Class of 2020 for induction.
This exciting event will be held at the magnificent Crowne Plaza Near the Galleria-Addison, 14315 Midway Road, Addison TX 75001 in the heart of the Dallas Metroplex.
The 2020 Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction ceremony will be Saturday, July 25th. Reception and Cocktail Hour begin at 5:30 pm. The Hall of Fame Banquet and Awards Ceremony begin at 7:00 pm. The dinner and ceremony will be a black-tie affair for inductees and appropriate semi-formal dress code for all guests. By accepting the award, you will be honored at the ceremony, which your family, friends and special guests may attend to see your induction along with your colleagues. Some of the world's greatest martial artists will be present to take part in this most prestigious evening.

The 2020 IMAC National Training Camp will be held July 23rd through July 25th, 2020. Camp seminars are taught by Masters and Grandmasters in all phases of the Martial Arts as well as tactical law enforcement and self-defense. The camp is sponsored by the International Martial Arts Council of America. This year's invited guest Instructors include: GM Mark Shuey (The Canemaster), GM Rodrigo Antunes (UFC 2016 Submission Grappling Champion), GM Ray Dionaldo (Filipino Martial Arts), Master Danny Dring (Superfoot and Joe Lewis Fighting Systems 7 th Dan), and other Masters and Grandmasters from around the globe.

... Everything about this book was absolutely adorable and perfect for young children. With Halloween right around the corner, Our Unforgettable Halloween is such a fun book that really captures the exhilarating experience of trick-or-treating for kids everywhere. The entire book is beautifully made, from the writing to the illustrations.
Victor Teran did a wonderful job with the illustrations on each page, and I think the rhythm of the book really drives the story and makes it an easy read for all young kids. For parents who are working with their children and teaching them how to read, this could be a great stepping stone. The language is simple, and the story reads like a song due to the lyrical manner in which it is written. Our Unforgettable Halloween has put me in the mood for October, and I think it could get other kids really excited about dressing up and trick-or-treating. This was a super cute book, and I cannot recommend it enough for children."
